About Royal Truck Body: A Brief History
CEO Dudley De Zonia started Royal Truck Body in 1971 and the company has had a continued pattern of growth since its inception.
In 1995, Royal Truck Body became a bailment pool company for Chevrolet; in 1997, we became a converter pool company for both Ford and GMC; and in 2000, we added Dodge. In 1999/2000 Royal purchased River City Truck Equipment in Northern California, now called Royal River City and we have since opened new branches in Phoenix, Arizona and Haslet, Texas as well.
Royal Truck Body is now the largest service body company in the Western United States with 200,000 Square feet of manufacturing space at our principal facility in Paramount Ca. In addition, we have in excess of 100,000 square feet of combined manufacturing space at our branch locations.

Royal Truck Body was founded on the principle of “commitment to quality in providing for our customers' service needs”. Today, 36 years later, the "ROYAL" trademark of quality has emerged as the recognized leader in the Western United States. So as we ramp up our engineering, production, and design capabilities - quality still takes precedence over all other considerations.
